Joanna Watts joined the firm in 2016. She is admitted to practice in Vermont courts, and accredited to assist clients with claims to the Veterans Administration.
Joanna obtained her law degree from the School of Law at the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand, in 2007. After graduation Joanna clerked at the Christchurch District Court for two years and then practiced as in-house counsel at the Inland Revenue Department in Christchurch.
In 2011, Joanna and her family moved to Vermont. Joanna was admitted to practice in Vermont in 2014, and is a member of the Vermont Bar Association and the Chittenden County Bar Association.
Prior to joining Bennett & Zaikowski, Joanna worked at the Law Office of Joanna K. Watts PLC, where she focused on assisting clients with their legal issues in the areas of landlord-tenant, family law, and Veterans cases before the VA. She was also employed at Legal Services Law Line of Vermont.
Joanna lives in Shelburne with her husband and two daughters, where she enjoys making the most of the wonderful outdoor lifestyle opportunities that Vermont offers.
